Richmond, VA, October 23, 2017 —- The conference will feature guest speaker, actress, comedian, author and speaker Kim Coles, also best known for her role on the TV series – Living Single. In addition, the conference will feature local WTVR CBS 6 Reporter, Antoinette Essa and include panel discussions featuring various full- time and part-time entrepreneurs along with a powerR session on monetizing your platform to be delivered by host, Sharvette Mitchell.

“I am hosting the POP UP conference because I want female entrepreneurs to be set up for success as they go into 2018 with tools and strategies they can use to generate more revenue,” says Mitchell. “We have become very comfortable behind the computer and on social media, however this conference creates an “in person” space for liked-minded solopreneurs to sharpen their saw and connect to benefit their families and ultimately the community,” she says.

“Monetize Your Platform,” is the theme for this year’s POP UP conference with Sharvette Mitchell and she wants attendees to take away new product or service ideas, new social media/ marketing strategies and a POP UP on the scene attitude.

About the Author: Carrie Brunner

Carrie Brunner grew up in a small town in northern New Brunswick. She studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married her husband one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children. Carrie writes mostly on provincial stories.
