Raise Vegan, the world’s premier vegan parenting magazine, to hit newsstands nationwide in early February

NEW YORK, NY – 01-23-2019 (PRDistribution.com) — Raise Vegan, the world’s premier vegan parenting magazine, to hit shelves nationwide in early February

Raise Vegan magazine has been the leading resource for vegan and plant-based parents for over a year. The formerly subscription-only publication will be going into a variety of stores across the United States on February 1, 2019.

The quarterly edition will be available in select Whole Foods and Sprouts locations, as well as a handful of smaller natural foods stores across the country. Raise Vegan will also be on sale at Barnes and Noble booksellers at a date that is yet to be determined.

The quarterly offers a split cover with half of them featuring vegan YouTube sensation Ellen Fisher, and Olympic medalists and WNBA stars Diana Taurasi and Penny Taylor on the other half.

The magazine is a comprehensive resource for parents who are raising their children vegan; it is also an excellent tool for anyone who is curious about the lifestyle or simply wants to learn more.

Raise Vegan was started in late 2017 by co-founder Janet Kearney and Chief Executive Officer Emily Wood; it began as a free online publication and within five months, they had the following, readership and support needed to go to print worldwide.

Raise Vegan has grown to encompass various successful online support groups, including a new subscription-based group, Just Ask the Dietitians, in collaboration with Facebook’s new classroom learning platform.

About the Author: Carrie Brunner

Carrie Brunner grew up in a small town in northern New Brunswick. She studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married her husband one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children. Carrie writes mostly on provincial stories.
