Personal Injury Law Firm Offers a Unique Scholarship Opportunity for Students

United States, South Carolina, Columbia – 05-23-2019 (PRDistribution.com) — Harris & Graves, a personal injury law firm in Columbia, has recently created a $1,000 scholarship opportunity, which will be awarded to one high school senior or currently enrolled college student.

The attorneys at Harris & Graves understand the financial burdens most students experience when embarking on their journey towards higher education. In many cases, finances prevent students from furthering their education.

The law firm hopes the scholarship will help one student alleviate some of the financial hardships of college. Education is vitally important to the firm because it helps build a brighter and stronger future. In addition to education, Harris & Graves is committed to staying active in their local community.

In order to apply for the scholarship, students must submit an essay, 300 words or less, that answers the question: How do lawyers help people?

The scholarship will be awarded to one student who has a GPA of 3.0 or below. The firm wants to offer this unique scholarship opportunity to provide financial assistance to a student who may not meet the GPA requirement of other scholarships.

Furthermore, applicants must submit a list of both extracurricular activities and community involvement, a recommendation letter from a past or current professor, a transcript, and proof of enrollment letter.

If you’re a high school student or currently enrolled college student and are interested in applying for the Harris & Graves scholarship, please send the required information to this email address: [email protected]

Carrie Brunner grew up in a small town in northern New Brunswick. She studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married her husband one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children. Carrie writes mostly on provincial stories.
