Packt and Next Tech partner to bring interactive tech education to developers

USA – 03-08-2019 ( — Technology publisher Packt and computing infrastructure provider Next Techhave announced that they are partnering in a bid to bring Packt’s diverse library of learning resources to a new audience of software engineers and developers via interactive labs that provide online access to real world developer environments.

Combining Packt’s considerable experience in publishing on the latest open source software and Next Tech’s innovative approaches to content delivery and learning experiences for technical skills, the partnership promises to be an important step forward in supporting the people powering the growing open source ecosystem.

Packt Publishing’s Head of Channels and Partnerships Heather Gopsill said “Next Tech is a company that shares many of our values, including a commitment to learning and a belief in innovation. That makes our partnership with them incredibly exciting, as it gives us an opportunity to deliver our latest content in new ways.”

Next Tech’s CEO Saul Costa was equally optimistic about the potential for the partnership, saying “Packt has done an incredible job of building a vast network of authors who produce high quality technical training materials. We’re excited to combine these with the online IDE we’ve built for teaching tech skills and together take technical education to a new level.”

The first of these products are currently available via Next Tech’s website. Packt plans to incorporate the products into their subscription service in the coming months at a large scale.
