Heidi McLaughlin’s Forever My Girl to hit theaters 1-19-2018

MONTPELIER, VT – 01-16-2018 (Press Release Jet) — New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Heidi McLaughlin adds another notable milestone to her career. Forever My Girl, a self-published novel written by McLaughlin in late 2012, finds its way to the big screen this week.

Forever My Girl, Book one in The Beaumont Series is a second chance romance and tells the story of Liam Page, a musician who chose fame over love. When he finds out his best friend is tragically killed, he returns home to face the consequences of his actions and the people he left behind many years prior. Page is played by actor Alex Roe and his love interest, Josie is played by actress Jessica Rothe. The Beaumont Series has sold nearly half a million copies worldwide.

Originally pitched to multiple publishing houses before McLaughlin made the remarkable decision to publish her first novel on her own, Forever My Girl hit the USA Today Bestseller list in early 2013. LD Entertainment reached out shortly after, and by mid-2013, a contract for the movie rights was signed. In early 2016, the script was finalized. Filming began shortly thereafter in Atlanta, GA. 

McLaughlin, who is originally, from the Pacific Northwest, now lives in picturesque Vermont, with her husband and two daughters. Now having published over twenty novels both with Grand Central and Random House Publishing Co., and on her own, McLaughlin continues to write and has numerous releases planned. Forever My Girl hits theaters nationwide on January 19, 2018 and includes multiple original songs written for the screen.
