Local pop artist, Bshelko, performs at this year’s Social Media Marketing World in San Diego, California

United States – 04-24-2019 (PRDistribution.com) — Bshelko, a 25-year-old award-winning pop artist outside of Atlanta GA, has proven once again that being a local artist doesn’t mean you only get local opportunities. This year, the talented singer/songwriter had the tremendous honor of writing, recording and performing this year’s Social Media Marketing World theme song and new hit single, “Don’t Give Up.” On March 22nd, Brianna Shelko and her five dancers were flown out to San Diego, California where they put on a performance of a life time.

It all started with a phone call with Social Media Marketing World’s Director of events, Phil Mershon. “I had a great feeling about him instantly”, Bshelko stated. “Phil shared his background as a saxophone player with me and since saxophone was one of the first instruments I fell in love with, our conversation just took off!”

After continuous discussions and brain storming, Brianna was booked by Phil Mershon to write, record and perform this year’s Social Media Marketing World theme song, “Don’t Give Up.”

“Don’t let his modesty fool you”, stated Bshelko. “Phil definitely helped bring this song to life. We came up with the concept, bounced lyrics off of one another and then made it happen. He was a great music partner.” The dedicated artist gained both corporate and private sponsorships to fly her and her dancers out to San Diego to leave it all on the big stage.

“I am extremely humbled and honored to have received this opportunity and to have been able to include five insanely talented dancers to come on this journey with me. I’d like to give a special shout out to my choreographer, Justin Brand, for making us all look good on the stage,” the young artist said. “And a big thanks to Phil Mershon and Social Media Marketing World for giving me this lifechanging experience.”

If you’d like to hear more of Bshelko’s music, her latest album, “Long Story Short,” is now available on ITunes, following her recent EP, “How Life Goes” and award-winning radio singles, “Replay” and “Sing the Blues.”

More About the Artist: In Brianna’s latest music video “Supergirl“, she teamed up with Grammy award winning producer Jonothan Crone and hired local talent from Kennesaw State University to feature in her film. After being featured on MTV with her very own episode at the age of 19, it gave Bshelko insight to television and videos. Now, the young artist has developed 4 self- produced independent music videos that have incorporated a series of talented professionals such as: Grammy award winning producer, Sean Clyde, movie director, Bill Rahn and Dove and Grammy Award winner, Jonathan Crone. Since her debut red carpet release of her previous single “Over It” Brianna has been up for numerous pop awards both locally and internationally.
