Internationally Renowned Diversity Expert Risha Grant hosts JustUs, a New TV Segment Series about Diversity

United States – 04-26-2019 ( — Internationally renowned diversity, inclusion and bias expert Risha Grant is host of JustUs, a tv segment series that airs on KJRH 2 NBC during the 6 pm newscast beginning Monday, April 22, 2019. As a 2 Works for You community correspondent, Risha’s bi-weekly series will touch on topics like inequality, privilege and bullying in the Tulsa, OK, area. “As I talk to people all over the world about diversity, inclusion and unconscious bias, I have realized that more than ever, we need each other,” says Risha. “The only way that things will get better is if we show up for each other, speak up for each other and stand together. It’s Just Us for Justice.” The first JustUs segment was on April 22 about Equality vs. Equity. Risha addressed this topic and specifically talked about Tulsa’s biggest inequity. “I wanted to develop something (JustUS) that would help us clarify the most current issues in society, getting input from citizens and then providing thought provoking perspectives,” says Risha. “I selected KJRH 2 NBC to partner with because they want to leverage their power to create positive change. They have been amazing to work with and I’m excited to see the impact we will create together.” In addition to her role as a 2 for You community correspondent and host of the JustUs series, author Risha Grant is an edgy, educational and motivational speaker who brings her expertise about diversity, inclusion and bias to corporations, associations and universities both nationally and abroad. She also addresses these topics in her Tulsa World column, Risha Talks, as a contributor to Black Enterprise Magazine, in her book, That’s BS! How Bias Synapse Disrupts Inclusive Cultures and her corresponding “BS” Video Series.

About the Author: Carrie Brunner

Carrie Brunner grew up in a small town in northern New Brunswick. She studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married her husband one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children. Carrie writes mostly on provincial stories.
