Leadership USA-New York City is a newly formed leadership education and networking organization geared to helping New York City-area businesses develop strategic decision-makers who can nimbly guide their companies to dizzying heights of success. The group will host a kickoff breakfast meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 12, in Manhattan.
The 90-minute debut gathering of LUSA-NYC begins at 8:30 a.m. in the offices of White and Williams, located on the 29th floor of 7 Times Square (Times Square Tower) at the corner of 41st Street and Broadway in Manhattan.
There is no cost to attend. A continental breakfast will be served. Doors open for registration at 8 a.m.
Meeting attendees will learn about the value of membership in LUSA-NYC (only business entities may become members, but the benefits of membership extend to their current and up-and-coming leaders in New York and other LUSA regions).
Attendees will learn how to most effectively use LUSA-NYC as a resource for career development and networking, said Greg Williams, regional director of the organization.
Williams said a variety of industries plan to send representatives to the kickoff breakfast, and a number of well-known organizations are already members.
After this initial meeting, LUSA-NYC will host monthly full-day leadership seminars beginning in February. Addressing attendees at each seminar will be a notable professional presenter with deep leadership expertise.
“The presenters we’ve already scheduled will talk on a variety of leadership topics, but they all have an incredible ability to cultivate the best in the people who’ll be participating,” said Williams, an authority on negotiation strategies and tactics, as well as an expert in interpreting body language.
