Google Aims to Improve the Accuracy of Tweets Shown in Search Results

Burnley, Lancashire — 11/16/2017 — Google have recently promised to improve the accuracy of tweets shown in its search results following the recent shooting in Texas. Following the shooting many people headed straight in Google to discover as much information as they could, however tweets containing misinformation were shown high up in the search results, leading to people believing false information and being misled.

Google has admitted that these tweets should have not shown and have said that they are going to take a number of steps to prevent this from happening again. As you are reading this in fat the search engine giant is searching for wats to improve how tweets appear in search.
