Charity Shooting Event Raises 190k: Solware Comments

Wilnecote, England — 11/16/2017 — Last month Shooters at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School raised a whopping £190k for two charitable causes at its 20th annual charity clay pigeon shooting event – The charities in which the money was donated to are Great Ormond Street Hospital and Marie Curie.

The highly successful event saw 25 teams of four Guns competing in a morning of clay pigeon shooting in the Berkshire hills, with the winning team compromising of Kevin Howland, James Bradley, Charlie Ray and Les Ray.

Over 100 guests attended the event and were in turn treated to a fantastic air display by The Blades, live music from the Patriot Girls and entertainment from comedian Rory Bremner. Champagne and a three course lunch was also enjoyed and attendees welcomed to listen to speeches from a range of people from the two charitable causes.

A spokesperson from Solware, the UK's leading gun supplier, was incredibly keen to comment saying, “It is always great to see shooting being used for such great causes and we would like to congratulate and thank all involved. Here at Solware we are passionate about shooting, and urge anyone considering hosting a shooting event to get in touch for leading advice and guidance.”

There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
